An Absolute Terror Field, often summarized A.T. Field (A.T.フィールド), is a mostly impenetrable energy barrier used by Angels to repel attacks.

Fiction

Transformers X Evangelion

Starscream's ghost made good use of the A.T. Field when he possessed an Angel, using it to repel attacks from an enhanced Optimus Prime. However, it proved to be easily cut by an energy axe formed from mysterious red energy that Optimus Prime gained from scanning Eva-01. Mode "Eva" chapter 4

TransTech

The OZSA tracked Sideways, who had botnapped Vector Prime, to a building in the Heap. However, they found their way blocked by an Absolute Terror Field, which had somehow been back-doored into Axiom Nexus from an extra-multiversal source by a recent quantum alignment event. Thus, Cheetor tried to get permission from the High Senate to use a Vortex Grinder, with Rook looking into legal precedent for such action. The High Senate's bill turned out to be unnecessary, however, as the field came down on its own when Sideways's head suddenly exploded. Rook - Axiom Nexus News: Investigative Journalist
