Transformers Energon
Super Energon is the name given to a bright blue colored Energon in the series that was hidden at the core of Cybertron. It is identified as a prophetic fuel that meant "hope" for the Tranformers race. It would eventually be used to upgrade [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron[[ and Starscream, as well as increase the size of some curious Insecticons. A striking trait of the fuel was that it was so powerful, it destroyed many Divebomb terrorcons as their bodies tried to reformat it into Energon Stars.
The Super Energon also eventually caused Galvatron to grow to planet size, serving as the new body and host of the evil Unicron. At the end of the Energon series, Primus used the Super Energon to power a new sun. It was created when Galvatron, posessing the spark of Unicron, dove into it, igniting it and saving the Q-system from destruction.
The Super Energon-created sun would not last forever, as the breakdown of Unicron's spark within led to a colapse and the creation of the Unicron Singularity.
Fun Publications Cybertron Club Comic
In this story, The Autobot Downshift has stayed behind after the evacuation, assigned to guard the entrances to the Energon Core of Cybertron. This insists that the Super Energon at the core still remains, despite most of it being used to create the sun in Energon. The Transformers Universe packge bio for Downshift mirrors this tidbit.
