Freedom is an eagle and member of G.I. Joe from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Freedom is the eagle partner of Spirit.

Freedom reported Cobra activity in the city of Milleville to Spirit. Goin' South He later went with Spirit and Storm Shadow on mission to retrieve Scarlett and Sidney Biggles-Jones from Milleville. When they met with the Autobots, Storm Shadow neglected to introduce Freedom to them. Final Transformations
