Swelter transforms from a small humanoid robot into a Cybertronian torpedo in a single step. As a torpedo-style Mini-Con, he can attach to and launch from the Deployer Fracture toy. He comes with a Deception-sigil-shaped sprue with a number of clear plastic armor pieces that can be attached to him in both robot and torpedo modes.

While he shares engineering with fellow Decepticon Mini-Con Divebomb, he is a completely new mold.

This mold was also redecoed into Glacius.

• Mini-Con 4-Pack (2015)

This version of Swelter, dubbed "Blizzard Strike Swelter", is an ice-themed redeco of the fire-themed Mini-Con. Unlike his individual release, however, this version of Swelter does not come with an armor sprue.

This four-pack also comes with Blizzard Strike Backtrack, Scorch Strike Beastbox, and Scorch Strike Undertone.
