Following directly on from the Transformers: Infiltration mini-series, Escalation takes its predecessor's revisions to Generation 1 continuity and ramps up the pressure, as both the Earth-bound operations of the Autobots and Decepticons - and the activities of the human group known as the Machination - kick into high gear. What was not so long ago just another skirmish in the cold war between the two alien forces is heating up very rapidly - how the conflagration will spread from here is anyone's guess.
Escalation is followed by Devastation.
