Continuity notes

• The continuity of this story is unclear, but as a story advertising Japanese Masterpiece figures, in all likelihood it takes place in the Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity.
  • On that note, Windblade and Drift have never appeared in Japanese G1 continuity proper before. In the case of Windblade, though, she has appeared in Legends stories as a creation of the Japanese continuity Zamojin, and thus her appearance in this story is not entirely unexpected.
