Whirl is so excited to use the new Bot Blog that she posts an embarrassing video of Hot Shot without asking his permission first. When she realizes her mistake it's too late as the clip has gone viral.
Synopsis
Ratchet finishes setting up a connection to the Rescue Network in Whirl's quarters and introduces her to a new social media feature - the bot blog - warning her to be careful what she posts. She doesn't have the chance to post anything before the other recruits arrive to collect her as they're late for a training exercise. They successfully rescue a crashed bus, at which point Tough Luck Chuck pops out in a chicken costume and does a dance, laying a rubber ball egg in the process. Hot Shot trips up on the ball, an event which Whirl catches on camera.
Back at the academy, Whirl posts the footage of Hot Shot's fall to the blog so the other recruits can see it. Wedge and Hoist enjoy it, but soon realize that Whirl didn't get permission from the oblivious Hot Shot to post it. Realizing she's done wrong, Whirl decides to delete the video before anyone else sees it. Unfortunately the video has already gone viral and been viewed far and wide, and before she can delete it, the rescue alarm goes off.
Ratchet reports that a sandstone butte on Dino Island is in danger of falling on the island's last red bank fig tree. Wedge's jokes playing off Hot Shot's fall are only confusing Hot Shot, who still hasn't found out about the video. The recruits reach the island where the Dinobots are waiting, allowing Wedge to share the video with Sludge and Snarl. The first plan is to have the team support the butte while Hot Shot reinforces the base with concrete, however this proves ineffective. Plan B is to dig a trench and then push the butte safely into it by having the two copter bots drop Sludge and Snarl on it. Grimlock congratulates everyone, and Whirl finally admits to having put the video of Hot Shot's pratfall online.
Back at base, Whirl does a pratfall of her own and says Hot Shot can post it, but Hot Shot's actually happy about being the latest viral sensation. Unfortunately for him, Ratchet reveals that the hits on the video are only simulated as the system isn't fully online yet. Also Chuck's chicken dance video is funnier. Heatwave arrives to find everyone imitating Chuck's chicken dance.
