Fera Islands
The Fera Islands are a desolate island chain located somewhere on the planet Earth. Whatever relationship they may have with the similarly named <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faroe_Islands" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Faroe_Islands">Faroe Islands</a> is unclear.
Fiction
Transformers/G.I. Joe
The Fera Islands were inhabited by a group of monks (and as near as can be determined, no one else) until 1939, when Cobra and the Decepticons seized control of the islands and built a Terrordrome there. The newly formed G.I. Joe team was then sent to mount an attack on the islands' occupiers.
