Operation: Combination is an initiative from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

In response to the evil Autobots' growing number of combiners, the heroic Decepticons initiated Operation: Combination. The best of the results was the Terrorcons' gestalt form Abominus, a wise artist and representation of lost peacetime culture.
