During a battle, Optimus Primal ordered Cheetor to transform into a cheetah. Cheetor transformed into the singer Kiyoko Suizenji, whose nickname was Chīta, and began to sing. Cheetor, Beast Mode!!

Notes

• Kiyoko Suizenji, real name Tamiko Hayashida, is a performer who was mostly active from the 1960s to the 1980s and took a break for much of the 1990s. Her nickname, Chīta, is derived from chīsana Tami-chan (ちいさなたみちゃん "little Tami-chan"), which is what the lyricist Tetsuro Hoshino used to call her. Chīta (ちいた) and "cheetah" (チーター chītā) are near-homonyms.
• Gag or not, Kiyoko Suizenji is the only instance of a Transformer taking a human as beast mode.
