The "spider planet" is a planet from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
Optimus and Elita, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G...

The nameless spider planet is a largely organic planet, dusty and rocky on the surface, with crystalline webs overhanging its large cliffs, and small mushroom-like plants in its canyons. It has a large network of tunnels, which are home to a race of spiders, as well as containing an abandoned Decepticon ship. It apparently has three moons.

Sentinel, Optimus and Elita-1 landed on the spider planet on rumors of the Decepticon ship crashing there. Optimus objected as he said there were reasons organic planets were off-limits to Autobots, but Sentinel twisted his arm by emphasizing that the Decepticons were chronic hoarders of energon, and that if they found the ship they were bound to be set for life.
