Three comic lines have been produced in the Transformers Animated continuity:

• IDW Publishing
  • Transformers Animated is an adaptation of the cartoon series using screen captures arranged in comic book-style panels.
  • The Arrival is a series featuring original stories.
• Titan Books
  • Transformers Animated, a short-lived UK-exclusive comic magazine.
  • Transformers, which ran the leftover strips from the above comic.

Hasbro also released the exclusive comic Rise of Safeguard bundled in with the Jetfire and Jetstorm two-pack. This issue was originally solicited as the sixth issue of The Arrival, but the standalone comic was later cancelled.
