Takaya Kuroda

Takaya Kuroda (黒田崇矢, Kuroda Takaya, born April 17, 1967 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator. Some of his famous roles include Yaiba in GoGo Sentai Boukenger, Kazuma Kiryu in the Yakuza series and Lin in the King of Fighters game series. He was cast in Galaxy Force as Starscream as his voice matched Hirotaka Suzuoki, the voice of Generation 1 Starscream, who was going to voice him but had to drop out due to illness.

Notes

• Despite his voice sounding like Hirotaka Suzouki, he did not replace him as Sakaki/Giovanni (the leader of Team Rocket) in Pokemon. Instead that role went to Kenta Miyake.
