Talk:Mars Attacks: The Transformers
From MediaWiki
Full stop error
I was going by the image on The General. Maybe we need a better image on that page, if an image without the mistake is available? --Flicky1991 05:39, 27 January 2013 (EST)
- The error isn't in the printed copy, there's a clearly visible period after the word 'any', the error was only in the preview. - Cattleprod 14:51, 27 January 2013 (EST)
Continuity
I probably wouldn't have said anything if I wasn't minor edit-no explanation-reverted, but why do we list a continuity family under the "continuity" line? For reference, the Transformers Legends stories uses things like "Generation 1 (Unique)" and "Beast Machines (Unique)." Can't we get any closer than the G1 continuity family which includes IDW, Beast Wars, and Marvel Comics? Are we pretending it is just some random Generation 1 universe where Spike wears yellow oil rig work boots? - Starfield 20:33, 28 January 2013 (EST)
- Throwing this in - the Continuity map in the latest Fan Club magazine places this in the cartoon continuity. --abates 07:22, 20 July 2013 (EDT)
- So should we move the Mars Attacks sections to the G1 cartoon sections? Mimi 07:57, 20 July 2013 (EDT)
- It seems so. Like the Madman comic and the Wings Universe. - Starfield 18:10, 20 July 2013 (EDT)
- Don't forget that I noted a bunch of issues with that continuity map, so it ain't perfect. This issue, while heavily influence on the cartoon continuity, feels more like a parody of that continuity, poking fun at it instead of feeling like a legitimate component of it. --Sabrblade 18:28, 20 July 2013 (EDT)
