After being injured in a fight while protecting humans, First Aid doubted his effectiveness in combat. Hot Spot tried to cheer him up by insisting on how valuable First Aid was to the Protectobots. Sure enough, First Aid soon had the opportunity to lead the Protectobots in a search for Swindle and Metroplex's stolen transforming cog. Bad at Fighting? Rescue Team Protectobots, Dispatch!

Hot Spot comes as part of the Defensor Micro-Changer combiner set, and can be rebuilt from his robot mode into a fire engine. He can also contribute his bricks to form Defensor. His helmet was originally used for Sentinel Prime.
