The Decepticon-shaped rock is a rock from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

With the Decepticons about, everyone has to stay alert. You never where a 'Con could be lurking; after all, they can disguise themselves as anything. That jet over there? It's probably a Decepticon. That toaster? It could be a Decepticon. The moral of the story here is that you should shoot first and ask questions later.

Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to the death of innocent rocks. But that's okay; better safe than sorry, after all.
