Chronology 2015

A new era begins.

Synopsis

Upon the dark Primus's transformation into his robot mode and subsequent attack on the displaced Earth, in an attempt to eradicate his former children, the Rarified Energon located in the planet reacted, and was revealed to contain the lifeforce of another planet transformer, a Light God named Gaea, equal in power to both Unicron and the attacking Primus. Transporting the population of humans to another dimension's Earth, she transformed to her robot mode and fought Primus, defeating him. Reformatting her alternate mode into a new Cybertron, she transformed back, giving a new home to the joint forces of the heroic Decepticons and Autobots.

Quotes

"Being different is not evil. It is simply being. True harmony is found in a chorus of many ranging voices. Chaos comes from those like you who refuse to be part of the harmony."
"Charming metaphor. It should have Ponies and sparkles. They would be appropriate for your dream. Your fantasy."

—The negotiations between Gaea and Primus proved far from pleasant.

Transformers references

  • Spike's abrupt declaration of 'Oh sh-' was previously uttered in full by his cartoon counterpart in The Transformers: The Movie.
  • Shattered Glass Primus's colors are based on Unicron's Energon colors. His final fate as an orbiting head mirrors Unicron's fate at the end of The Transformers: The Movie, completing the movie homage this comic arc has been.
