Nick Roche
Nick Roche is an Irish comic book artist for IDW Publishing who currently does interiors and alternate covers for the Transformers Spotlight series of comic book one shots. He also both wrote and illustrated Spotlight Kup. He is awesome.
Nick Roche is a native of County Wexford, but currently resides in Dublin, Ireland. Nick has always been a massive transformers fan and gained a lot of fan support for his work. Initially his first Transformers artwork was for fan fiction and convention comic books.
Nick got his break into transformers when IDW publishing acquired the Transformers license after Dreamwave Comics folded. A friend of Nick's, by the name of Dave Hendrick sent IDW supremo Chris Ryall Nicks samples.
20 minutes later there was an email back from Chris.
Nick has drawn Transformers Spotlight Shockwave, Transformers Spotlight Hot Rod and he wrote and drew Transformers Spotlight Kup. He's also penciled numerous covers for the different Transformer series and also drew the new Transformers covers. Most recently penciling a piece for the target 2006 reprints featuring the original team of Wreckers. Including Impactor and Rank n' Ruin. Nick is also working on the new Transformers UK comic book and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
