Dweller (G1)
- The Dweller is something from the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Dweller was a large Trans-Organic that was created by the Quintessons in the distant past on Cybertron. Due to its violent and dangerous nature; it was sealed by the Quintessons for all of time. However, it was accidentally awakened as part of a Quintesson trap against the Transformers.
The Dweller appeared as a large worm-like creature, far larger then an ordinary transformer with two tentacle arms and a maw with sharp teeth. It possessed a series of packs on its back allowing it to capture prey where it would store them and drain them of energy making it a dangerous threat against other forms of life. It was capable of spitting out webbing to trap and capture prey for consumption; once this was done, the sentient would become a zombie-like creature completely under the thrall of the Dweller who appeared completely gray in colour.
After awakened by Galvatron, the Dweller cut a swath of destruction across Cybertron until it attacked the new Autobot power plant. The Autobots used it to dispose of the creature by ejecting the power plant into space where it crashed into a Quintesson ship which had been waiting for the creature to do its work after which the Quintessons would have destroyed it and occupied Cybertron. The fate of this creature is unknown after it crashing into the Quintesson ship.
- A similar creature appeared in the comics, and were large, black coloured skeletons that absorbed and fed on energy. Unlike the Dweller, they were the original inhabitants of the asteroid that Primus occupied.
