  • Lord Gnaw was depicted as a statue back in "Wiped Out", but with a different design. Here he resembles the other Sharkticons, making him appear more like his toy.

Transformers references

  • As the Autobots and Decepticons begin training, Hot Rod states he hopes they have "the touch", prompting Soundwave to start playing music. Unfortunately, the reference is hampered by the fact that the track he plays is a generic rock instrumental and not the actual song.
