The Laser Rod (レーザーロッド Rēzā Roddo) is Optimus Prime's personal sword in his "Laser" body.

Notes

• Generation 2 Laser Optimus Prime's sword was not named in its initial release, merely being referred to as a "saber weapon". Almost two decades later, it received a name for its United toy release, which was used again for Earth Wars, likely because Simon Furman was involved in writing both.
