Sea Iron

Sea Iron is a Beastformer from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sea Iron (シーアイアン Shīaian) is one of the many Beastformers who joined White Leo's resistance forces as Galvatron's Decepticons began to conquer the formerly-peaceful planet Beast with their army of cold-blooded insurgents. His role in the Autobot-allied Beastformer forces is underwater mobility. He holds the rank of Emperor of Chibara, under King Jungaroo, and was born in the Name River.

Part of the second series of Beastformers, Sea Iron is an anthropomorphic walrus. His left "hand" is still a flipper, which cannot hold his "Sea Sabel" (シーサーベル) harpoon weapon.

His rubsign reveals one of three symbols; Fire, Water or Wood. The initial release has the symbol as a black outline against "mood ring" style color-changing backdrop. He was re-released in series three, in a new box lacking the Transformers brand marks; this release gives him a rubsign that reveals a full-color symbol on a black backdrop.

Notes

• There are two paint variations of Hasbro version of this toy. One version has white eyes and white "lights" on his waist. The second version changes the white paint to a seafoam green, and full-on eliminates the white paint on his tusks, leaving them skin-tone tan. Currently, it appears that only the white-tusks version was released in Japan.
