- As revealed in the BotBots Sticker Book, the Lost Bots Overpack and Stinkeye Stapleton were lost from the Backpack Bunch.
- They are not the first reference to office supplies-based Transformers, that being the 2016 April Fools-based Memobots and Deskcepticons. Unlike them, the Backpack Bunch actually, well, exists.
- In both series 1 and 2, they are all 1 stars.
