Gilles Morvan

Gilles Morvan (b. May 7, 1970) is a French actor, voice actor, singer and voice director. He is the recurring voice actor of Rockmond Dunbar, Carlo Rota, Mahershala Ali, Kevin James and Troy Winbush. He also voiced Terry Crews and Dwayne Johnson a few times (but not in the Prime cartoon).

He is also very active in dubbing video games, and is known for being the French voice of Garrus Vakarian in the Mass Effect saga.

Note

• Gilles Morvan took over the role of Ironhide after the death of Pascal Massix, his first voice actor.
• On the other hand, he didn't voice Barricade in Dark of the Moon or in The Last Knight.
• For unknown reasons, Gilles Morvan also plays a pair of Ratchet's lines in Revenge of the Fallen and in Dark of the Moon. Notably, it's Ironhide who says "Bumblebee, get them out of here!" after Optimus Prime's death in Revenge of the Fallen and also Ironhide who tells Sentinel Prime that's "There's nothing to fear" after his resurrection in Dark of the Moon. Alain Dorval is a pretty busy man, yknow!
