Wheeljack is a scientist working with the Autobot Ministry of Science. Skilled at solving engineering issues, he is frequently paired for special projects with the scientific wunderbot Perceptor.

When asked about the dangers, he discussed the possibility that the test subjects would have increased size, strength, and an overwhelming desire to reduce Autobots to wreckage. He was kidding about that last part, he hoped. Thankfully with a bit of help from Red Alert to coordinate the data-merge, the process was a success, producing Jetfire and Jetstorm. Rise of Safeguard
