• John Keller calls the abyss the deepest point on Earth... but in reality, this is untrue. The <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariana_Trench" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Mariana_Trench">Mariana Trench</a> is over twice as deep as the Laurentian.
