Fiction

Cartoon continuity

Medicroids repaired Dr. Arkeville's broken body after he was electrocuted by a security system, turning him (more) into a cyborg. Countdown to Extinction

Why Decepticons would even have such things at their disposal when they despise human life forms in general is unclear. The act of turning a man nearly into a robot seems a bit overkill for a patient who is likely just suffering electrical burns, but the Decepticons were probably either unfamiliar enough with human physiology for a subtler treatment, or just didn't care as long as he had a working body.
