A harvester is a piece of technology from the live-action film continuity family.

When the AllSpark runs low on energy, only the destruction of a star can replenish it. In order to harness the power of stars, workers in service to the AllSpark built harvesters.

• A similar such piece of technology was present in the Generation 1 cartoon which was called the Solar Needle but instead of empowering the AllSpark, it simply drained the power of a star in order to produce energon.
