Jessica Theist is a human from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Doctor Jessica Theist is an American archeologist. She's very driven, often ignoring her own injuries for the sake of pure discovery. She's also not very happy about the fact that she has to share leadership of her expedition with Doctor Carter Sanford, but it is a joint UK/American endeavor.

Transformers Legends anthology

Jessica was on a dig in the Labná ruins in Mexico, when she made the discovery. After an attempt to move a door cause the ground to give way, Jessica was injured in a fall. Ransack, one of the Mini-Cons whom Kelly had brought along, came to her aid. As it turned out, the fall was serendipitous, as they cave they had discovered was covered in ancient pictographs.

With Laserbeak's help, they discovered a recording from Rhinox and a story detailing the Natiltec tribe's encounter with beast warriors. While Dr Sanford was marvelling at the find, Jessica touched the stone wall, and had a vision of the beast warriors and their battle, causing her to wonder if perhaps the gods worshipped by ancient races were Transformers, like the Mini-Cons... Fire in the Dark
