Ironic?

An ironic thing is that Lantis was bought by and became a subsidary under Bandai Visual in May 2006.

May need to explain why that's ironic. I personally don't get it. Did they previously have particularly fierce rivalry or something? - Magnus Maximus 02:41, 15 April 2010 (EDT)
