Matrix check

A Routine Matrix check is a standard check in the Transtech continuity.

A Routine matrix check is, presumably, a check for a Matrix of Leadership performed on Prime's who break the law in Axiom Nexus of being a Prime.

After a B.U.T.T related incident sent Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Sari Sumdac to Axiom Nexus, Prime and Sari were arrested for being a Prime and holding a mystic McGuffin, both of which (along with being a Megatron and soliciting are strictly prohibited in Axiom Nexus). Prime and Sari were taken away for some very borinng, seventeen hour "processing". When they eventually left they found Shockwave, a Third Rank subcommander from the Menacing and Foreboding Sciences Division of the Axiom Nexus Military Intelligence Branch who takes the two away to perform some evil morally ambiguous experiments on the two, including a routine matrix check. It sounded somewhat uncomfortable from the awkward noises Optimus Prime made while it was being performed. Bee in the City
