Epsilon Ariadne is a star system located somewhere within the Milky Way galaxy, presumably relatively close to Earth in stellar terms.

Generation 1 cartoon

Free trader Dirk Manus claimed to hail from Epsilon Ariadne. As with anything Dirk Manus said, it ought to be regarded as dubious information. Money Is Everything

Notes

  • The name is a Bayer designation, indicating that the star is the fifth brightest in the Ariadne constellation, though no such constellation exists in reality. Ariadne is, of course, a character from Greek myth.
  • The similarly named star Epsilon Eridani is popularly used in science fiction.
