Strongbox

Strongbox is a Transformer from the IDW Generation 1 continuity portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Strongbox's job is to transport money and other valuables around using his big, boxy armored truck alternate mode. He works alongside Nightshift.

Before the war completely engulfed Cybertron, Strongbox and Nightshift were delivering a small load of credits to Iacon, a job which had them pass through the desolate Wreckage Row of Kaon. Strongbox assured his nervous buddy that the place was abandoned and there was nothing to fear, only both of them to be knocked out by a sudden explosion courtesy of the Dynobots, who proceeded to blow open the unconscious Strongbox's trailer and steal the money he was carrying.
