Laser Rod
The Laser Rods were among the new molds included in the Generation 2 toyline. They feature clear plastic swords and a small light that can peg into the bottom of the fist holding the sword, to give the illusion that it is a "laser sword".
The Laser Rods transform into classic hot rods and are also notable as being among the first fully-poseable Transformers (thus prefiguring the soon-to-be-born Beast Wars line, though the Laser Rods are built with an elastic-and-hook design similar to 1980's G.I. Joes that rendered them rather floppy and was never repeated.)
Four Laser Rods were produced, two Autobot and two Decepticon: Electro Volt Sizzle (G2) Jolt
