Beastbox transforms from a robotic gorilla into a Cybertronian buzzsaw in a single step. As a Mini-Con, he can attach to and launch from any Deployer figure, though he is meant more for fellow Autobot Drift. He comes with a number of clear plastic accessories attached to an Autobot-insignia-shaped sprue, which can be attached using tabs and slots. Some of these parts can combine with those of his wavemates Ratbat, Sandsting and Velocirazor to form an energy shark.

Scanning his Autobot insignia sticker into the Robots in Disguise mobile game gives the player a "Mini-Con Buzzsaw" power-up weapon to arm their characters with before a mission. Beastbox can only be scanned once per day.
