The Minicon 8 Pack is an set of Autobot or Decepticon-allied Mini-Cons (or Micromasters) from the Generation 1 and Unicron Trilogy continuity families (via the 2010 Transformers toyline).

Transformers (2010)

  • Minicon 8 Pack (Multipack, 2010)
Available exclusively in European markets, the "Minicon 8 Pack" consists of redecos of Classics and Cybertron Mini-Con molds.
The general theme of the "8 Pack" is a vehicular one, with no specific rules of what alternate forms each side has.
The set consists of the following Mini-Cons:
The Unicron Trilogy iterations of Airlift, Diveplane, and Reachout were later established as members of the Special Operations Team.

Notes

  • The "Minicon 8 Pack" (and the later single-releases of the characters) gives no indication whatsoever what continuity they all hail from, plus the use of Cybertron and Classics molds does not help matters either (Barrel Roll alone appeared in the IDW G1 comic in 2012). In 2015, the Facebook version of Ask Vector Prime stated that the members of the 8 pack existed in both Generation 1 and the Unicron Trilogy (though they are only "Mini-Cons" in the latter).
  • In 2012, Airlift and Iron Claw were released separately in discount outlets in the United States.
