- Sergeant Recon is a human from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
Sergeant Recon, codename of Sergeant Travis Rearick, is a perfect partner for Roadbuster as his racing skills allow the Autobot to ease back, enjoy the ride and learn more about Earth's roads. The two are bonded so well that they rarely need to actually talk. Even in combat, a gesture or a touch of hand or foot lets Recon point out new targets to his large friend.

Travis Rearick grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana in the shadow of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He always wanted to be a racecar driver but could not figure out how to make a career of it. He attended automotive mechanics school and then enlisted, catching the attention of his superiors with his extradordinary 20/05 vision. Rearick was tapped for reconnaissance, proving excellent at it. Upon the formation of NEST, his superior only reluctantly allowed him to leave for NEST. He quickly formed a bond with the Autobot Roadbuster, becoming an inseparable pair. Ask Vector Prime
