Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
Butch Witwicky was a son of Stan Witwicky (who called him "Buster"), and the two were estranged. Butch's escapades would have hurt his career if his dad hadn't secretly used his influence to stop it. Years later, when he joined NEST, his dad transferred over to patch things up with him.Ask Vector Prime

- Spike Witwicky / Backfire (Human Alliance Basic, 2011)
- Japanese ID number: DA21
- Part of the first wave of Dark of the Moon Human Alliance Triple Changer figures, Spike Witwicky is partnered with Backfire. He is compatible with other MechTech figures.
- This mold was also used to make Sergeant Detour.
Notes
- Clearly Spike shares a rather uncommon last name with Sam Witwicky and his family. "Ask Vector Prime" would later established that his father is Ron Witwicky's brother. This makes Spike and Sam first cousins.
- Backfire and Bumblebee were partnered with Sam Witwicky in the Autobot Daredevil Squad exclusive multi-pack. Make of that what you will.
- Coincidentally, Sam was credited as Sam "Spike" Witwicky in the Latin American Spanish dub of Transformers. Yeah, that's not helping at all.
