- Optimus Prime is an evil Autobot from the Shattered Glass Animated continuity family.
After being expelled from the Elite Guard, Optimus Prime led a team of renegade Autobots in search of the AllSpark. But when Optimus fought the heroic Megatron for it, the battle resulted in both their groups being stranded on Earth. Years later, the head of Optimus Prime is in the possession of the twisted Isaac Sumdac, who has used Transformers technology to dominate Earth with his own robotic creations. Optimus swears some day he'll wrest free of his captor and gut him.

Shattered Glass Animated
Optimus Prime and the other four the Autobots were captured by HYBRID and stuck in Soundwave's VR world where they were subjected to videos of a purple technorganic dinosaur in an attempt to turn them into goody-goods. Sari Sumdac freed them with the help of some local hobobots, and they smashed Soundwave. The AllSpark Almanac Addendum
While being interviewed, Optimus spoke of his 'bot Sentinel Prime and his views on organics. He then expressed his desire to escape his subjugation at the hands of Isaac Sumdac, and to crush Megatron and his absurdly loyal second-in-command. The Complete AllSpark Almanac
