Hoodwink and his teammates were part of a Destron commando team sent to the planet Beast to find the Ultra Matrix, using Pretender technology redeveloped by Megazarak to operate on the surface. Though they were able to steal it, the Cybertrons, led by Marduk, defeated them and reclaimed it. Ask Vector Prime
