Clutch was recruited by Cy-Kill from the Offworlder Zone of Axiom Nexus. He was helping to plan a raid on Shockwave's lab to help Cy-Kill abscond with Shockwave's research into sparks.

Cy-Kill though his personality and alternate mode would work well with the competent Buggyman. Renegade Rhetoric

Notes

• Clutch, like all of Cy-Kill's Axiom Nexus recruits, never made an appearance in the Challenge of the GoBots cartoon.
• Clutch and his fellow Decepticon recruit, Warpath are both Super GoBot toys.
