Tempo

Tempo was one of the Titans created by the legendary Knights of Cybertron to act as a living ship. Tempo carried a crew of philosophers seeking new kinds of truth.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Millions of years ago, Tempo and the other 12 colony Titans departed Cybertron to found new outposts of Cybertronian civilization. First Contact Tempo was one of the first Titans to leave, but by all accounts neither he or his crew ever returned.

In the present-day, Tempo was one of the colonies with which Metroplex established a space bridge link. When Windblade met with the ship's captain, Elita One, she was secretly alarmed when Elita told her they had renamed the ship "Carcer"—a name that Windblade knew belonged to another, separate Titan. • Aside from the musical concept, Tempo is Italian for "time". Considering how some other Titans have a direct connection to members of the Thirteen, Tempo may be affiliated with Vector Prime.
