After G.I. Joe met with representatives from the planet Cybertron and found them to be enemies of the Earth, Deep Six was among the operatives sent to the metal sphere to invade it. I Saw Three Ships There the team captured Wheeljack and began taking him apart until he proved himself to be sentient. Just as the operation was tabled, Wheeljack's friends burst in on the scene and launched an offensive. The Joes reciprocated the attack, and a several blasts from the crossfire knocked all of the combatants unconscious. Funeral for a Friend
