Taurs was one of the many operatives of G.I. Joe sent to the planet Cybetron after an encounter with the Decepticons led them to believe that all of its inhabitants were hostile. On the alien world, Taurus's team captured Wheeljack and began taking him apart until he proved himself to be sentient. Just as the operation was tabled, Wheeljack's friends burst in on the scene and launched an offensive. The Joes reciprocated the attack, and a several blasts from the crossfire knocked all of the combatants unconscious. Funeral for a Friend
