User talk:Dr. Vadam
Guy, please do something other than needlessly micro-edit descriptions of that one fight between Prime and the Fallen . - Chris McFeely (talk) 05:57, 9 October 2014 (EDT)
- You're doing it again, but with AOE descriptions. Please stop. --Inkblot (talk) 06:13, 20 October 2014 (EDT)
Your editing
Okay, look: your constant rewording of character fiction sections does nothing to make the articles more informative, and in some cases is making them less informative (e.g. replacing 'bisect' with 'slice through'). Please stop with this behavior, or we'll be forced to block you from editing for a while. Thank you. –Jalaguy (talk) 04:20, 21 October 2014 (EDT)
(Response from Dr. Vadam) Look i am only trying to improve it; i have done this before on other wikis and the other people on them have praised me for it. PS No offense to you
- Standards are different for every wiki, and what may be acceptable to some may be frowned upon by others.
- Seriously, cease the micro-editing, or you'll get a time out. Many of our write-ups do not need this pointless tweaking. May I recommend that you find something significant to rewrite? Please? --Inkblot (talk) 03:25, 10 November 2014 (EST)
Dr. Vadam: Look i want to do something on this wiki (the universe in it is one of my favourites) and i don't really know what else to do. However, i have done some corrections; for example on Sentinel's page i changed one of the line to this; Sentinel worked with Megatron, not for. Also Megatron merely intervenes in the fight between Optimus and The Fallen. Also, Megatron stabbed and killed Optimus after Optimus killed Grindor (Blackout), not as.
Words
If you insist on continuing micro-editing, at least please check that you aren't completely changing the meaning of things. For instance, "gloat" and "goad" very different things, and one cannot "gloat someone into" doing something. Jalaguy (talk) 13:04, 3 March 2015 (EST)
Reverting pages.
Stop reverting pages to previous obsolete formats. Escargon (talk) 05:17, 1 December 2015 (EST)
Why? It's longer and gives more information. And I've already asked you politely to stop reverting my edits. Please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dr. Vadam (talk • contribs).
- Because there those not need to be a friggin' short story's worth summarizing the information from the movie, and you've been told by one of the admins already to stop changing it. Knock it off already. Escargon (talk) 05:22, 1 December 2015 (EST)
I will not knock it off thank you very much. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dr. Vadam (talk • contribs).
- What's rude is your insistence on reverting other people's work just cause you feel an older format is more informative. You have been told MULTIPLE TIMES on end to stop with all the pointless micro-editing you do to the movie pages, which you have consistently ignored time and time again. Knock it OFF. Escargon (talk) 05:27, 1 December 2015 (EST)
Look I just want a good page. And I've tried to be polite; I've never said friggin or knock it off. I have only received two messages of people asking why i do "micro editing" (which i don't what is by the way), i have never been told multiple to stop it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dr. Vadam (talk • contribs).
- Four messages looking above about "micro-editing" all from moderators, and you've been told by others within the reverts of your edits to stop micro-editing. Escargon (talk) 05:36, 1 December 2015 (EST)
Four times is not many times. And maybe i just do it for fun. But i'm not trying to offend anyone, really i'm not. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dr. Vadam (talk • contribs).
- Look mate, we don't need 1500 words on what one guy did in one film. That's just ridiculous. Character fiction sections should summarise what a character did in a piece of fiction, not describe literally every specific action they take or thing they say. If people revert your edits, it's probably for a good reason. If you wish to dispute it, please raise it on the article's talk page, rather than getting into a revert war. Also, please sign talk page messages by typing four tildes: ~~~~ Jalaguy (talk) 05:41, 1 December 2015 (EST)
Here's one from another mod. Knock it off. We're not writing a novelization of the media. --M Sipher (talk) 05:44, 1 December 2015 (EST)
But many of the other character pages have hundreds of words in just one section. Look at Megatron's (Megatron Movie page). And i don't really know how to use talk pages. I have to go to bed soon, so goodnight. And i will not stop if you are not polite; say please, not knock it off. Goodbye —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dr. Vadam (talk • contribs).
- Oh, you're fucking right goodbye. You get to not edit the wiki for a few days now. Congratulations! --M Sipher (talk) 05:50, 1 December 2015 (EST)
All right, I will stop, if you stop saying friggin, fucking, and knock it off. Say please, please.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dr. Vadam (talk • contribs).
- Okay, so, to reply to this before the block expires: people did say please - go check the top of this talk page - but you then proceeded to completely ignore everything they said, so if people are now being not so polite over the same issues, then it's your own bloody fault. Respect other people, and other people will respect you. And secondly, you don't get to set conditions - if we ask you to stop, you will stop, or get blocked again. Jalaguy (talk) 09:08, 7 December 2015 (EST)
OK, I'm sorry. I guess i can't help it; it just feels good. But I'm really sorry for not heeding warning. I won't try to revert the pages again, I promise. I will probably do some "micro-editing" sometimes, but I promise I will not revert the pages; the thing I did with the page of Optimus Prime. I'm really sorry if I've offended anyone. I send you my apologies and my respects. Triple Sorry.
