Though she is completely devoted to her boyfriend, Optimus Prime, Arcee's name is sure to spark a debate whenever uttered in the same breath as the Knights of Unicron. The band's "unofficial fifth member," is presumably blamed by many as the catalyst to the band's dissolution in 1983.

Behind the Music

Optimus brought Arcee into the band in 1982. She convinced her boyfriend to remove his vocals from the track "Planet Eater," leading to some concern from the other band members about Arcee's increasing influence over Prime's decisions. The following year, Arcee helped Optimus organize a benefit concert to refill Iacon's Energon pools. Behind the Music
