Deduce (デデュース Dedyūsu) is the Targetmaster partner to the Power Core Combiner Autobot operating under the code name "Airmaster".

Deduce was a logic-based Mini-Con who hoped to someday become part of the High Senate. Towards this goal, he became an intern at the Axiom Nexus News station headquarters, where he annoyed Andromeda with his nitpicking of her technical language during her broadcasts. Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News Reporter Andromeda passed her interns off to Rook to get rid of them. When Rook found himself reading off an incomplete list on Cybertron's most wanted criminals, Deduce informed his new boss that they had never received the rest of the report's information… when they were already doing a report on the subject live, much to Rook’s frustration. Later, Deduce assured Rook that Packrat was not responsible for the disappearance of many of his items, as the Maximal couldn’t leave the offworlder zone. Rook shifted the blame for his missing possessions onto Deduce, promising that he would reprimand the Mini-Con for misplacing his stuff. In an another report, Deduce connected Rook to Cheetor’s commlink so that Rook could confront the police 'bot on the subject of allowing Packrat into Axiom Nexus. The interview didn't yield much.
At some point, Deduce wrote a term paper on the wanted criminal Battletrap as part of his Third Rung of the Psyberchology 5-Tier Class.
He then helped Rook make sense of the report on Cybertron’s number 1 wanted criminal, explaining that there was so little information on the 'bot not due to a loss of data, but because he had been conducting his crimes under the radar. Rook - Axiom Nexus News: Investigative Journalist
Deduce went back to working for Andromeda to fill in for Crosswise, who had disappeared following Vector Prime’s abduction. Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News Reporter
When Rook went off on a rant during an interview, accusing the government of conspiring to bring in an Offworlder Megatron to Axiom Nexus, Deduce informed him that Starscream had called in, and was threatening to arrest Rook on grounds of treason if he did not cease. - Available only in the Versus pack with his larger partner (as well as the Decepticons Dozermaster and Groundbreak), Deduce is a redeco of the Power Core Combiners Mini-Con Airlift. He transforms from robot mode to a double-barreled gun that can be held by a larger robot, a slightly-different double-barreled gun that can be mounted on a Powerlinx plug, plus an "armor" mode that connects to a Commander's chest—or back-mounted Powerlinx plug for use in either of their robot modes.
- This mold was also used to make Recoil and Spoilsport.
