Talk:Steeljaw (AOE)
Are Steeljaw animals?
His toy list him as a Decepticon, which I know is the catch all bad guy faction this year, but also seems to imply their robotic in nature. Also in the movie, they look pretty mechanical to me. Perhaps a modified life form like Laserbeak and Ravage?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Observedhalo (talk • contribs).
- Just watched the movie and I can now definitely confirm that Steeljaws are mostly biological if not completely. --TheSpartanD (talk) 18:17, 5 July 2014 (EDT)
- Yeah, I noticed the organic tissue too. Maybe armor then?Observedhalo (talk) 03:28, 6 July 2014 (EDT)
I will be shocked if the name "Steeljaw" is supposed to refer to a species as opposed to an individual. -LV (talk) 14:23, 6 July 2014 (EDT)
- Maybe but it's better than Lockdown Wolf/Wolves or even Alien Wolf --TheSpartanD (talk) 14:32, 6 July 2014 (EDT)
- Well, One-Step Changers don't get package bios, so we'll never know any better. Jalaguy (talk) 15:35, 6 July 2014 (EDT)
Carnivac Micron
To anyone clued up on Japanese: does the text in the magazine scan here mention if the Carnivac promo Micron is supposed to be one of the Steeljaws/Wolves from AOE? I mean, I assume it is, but want to be sure. If not, hopefully the campaign web page will shed light on the matter... Jalaguy (talk) 12:50, 22 October 2014 (EDT)
- Is there actually any basis for having Carnivac here and not his own page? (Don't have the time to translate that blurb.) Saix (talk) 15:54, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- I can't read Japanese, but I spot Lockdown's name (ロックダウン) in the text. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:34, 4 January 2016 (EST)
