Whereas in the universe we know, Challenge of the GoBots only ran for one season and a movie, in this universe, it received a second season of 65 episodes, and a comic book published by DC Comics. Spin-offs produced in later years include:
- Movies: Michael Bay's GoBots film franchise.
- Television:
- GoBots: Creature Wars—Released in 1996, well received by the fans.
- Creature Cyborgs—A sequel to Creature Wars, Vector Prime considers it an "underrated gem".
- Gobots: Mighty Robots, Mighty Vehicles—A dub of a Machine Robo anime.
- GoBots: Trans-Formers— A toyline aimed at preschoolers.
- The Zod Trilogy
- GoBots: Animated—A fan favorite.
- GoBots: Leader-1—A movie-inspired series wherein Lou Richards reprised the role of Leader-1.
- GoBots: Rescue 'Borgs—A spin-off of Leader-1 pitched to a younger audience.
- GoBots: Mighty Robots, Mighty Vehicles—A confusingly-named sequel to Leader-1.
- Comics:
- Rock Lords: Generation 2—An ill-received title from Dreamwave.
- Cy-Kill: Origins—A title by IDW Publishing featuring a scene of Cy-Kill gratuitously slaying a Megatron look-alike.
- Last Stand of the RoGuns—A collaboration of James Roberts and Nick Roche, perhaps the most popular GoBots comic of all time.
- Realities Collide—A Simon Furman tale featuring the slain bodies of Megatron and Soundwave as a background element.
- Reign of Zero—A movie tie-in by Chris Mowry.
- UNECOM—A movie tie-in by John Barber.
Each of these titles is totally unique and bears absolutely no resemblance to any known Transformers book or series we of the wiki can think of.
Vector Prime noted that in this universe, a "popular" running gag involved various versions of Cy-Kill killing Megatron, because those Transformer guys were totally lame, am I right? Ask Vector Prime
