Odysseus is a human who hails from the city of Ithaca on ancient Earth. What they don't tell you in school is that Odysseus later travelled to outer space and fought giant alien robots. Beat that, Sophocles!

Spacewarp's Log

Odysseus undertook a very long trip from the city of Troy all the way back to Ithaca. One could think of it as a sort of epic voyage, or perhaps an odyssey. He lived with his wife and child for a time, but the wanderlust he'd developed along the way meant that he eventually set sail for more adventures. Odysseus eventually met up with Calypso, a nymph who granted him immortality. The duo sailed the world for a while until they stumbled across an alien civilization located on what is now known as Easter Island. They hitched a ride off of Earth and into the cosmos.

Centuries later, Odysseus was adventuring on the planet Varus VI. There, he found Spacewarp under attack by a some steam-powered automatons. He helped her dispatch them, and then invited her back to a saloon where he explained his unique history. According to Spacewarp, he plays a mean game of cyvasse.
